On October 26, 2021, Acetate (Shandong) Environmental Fiber Co., Ltd. has been established. In May 2022, the construction of a project with an annual output of 6,000 tons of cellulose acetate staple fiber and 2,000 tons of cellulose acetate filament has been launched. The project has been completed and put into production in March 2023, creating 130 job opportunities.

As the only domestic enterprise capable of manufacturing cellulose acetate filament yarn, Acetate (Shandong) boasts the advantages of favorable timing, geographical convenience and human harmony. To fill the gap that the material had long relied solely on imports, the Group has decided to fully expand the production capacity of cellulose acetate filament on the basis of the existing output, enabling it to occupy a significant position in the entire cellulose acetate filament market.
